Full Stack Developer

I am a Full Stack Web Developer and experienced Registered Nurse wanting to apply my web development and medical skills towards creating software that will allow health systems and organizations work together to improve the health outcomes of the communities they serve.

I have been a Registered Nurse for twenty-one years, fifteen years in Intensive Care and six years in Nursing Informatics. My greatest accomplishment was implementing a new Hospice Call Center and designing the needed call center software. I provided the requirements of the project and met with the developers to discuss the call center workflow for the creation of the software. I participated as the project manager, to keep the project on the specified timeline and performed software testing, to ensure the developed software met the specified requirements and was defect free.

Within healthcare, nurses have the most interaction with patients and technology. I strongly feel that technology should create a positive influence on nursing productivity. In my desire to improve the quality of healthcare, I am committed to creating functional and useable software that will enhance patient care.
